Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026 (v1.5)
These terms apply to the Jam Along website, the /sing coach, the browser extension and the Jam Along Sing Android app (together, "Jam Along"), provided by Yahav Vardi. By using Jam Along you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Who can use it
Everyone. Jam Along is a mixed-audience (general audience) app, not primarily directed at children. Users under 13 use kids mode, which collects no personal information, and a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on their behalf. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian. See the Children's privacy section.
2. What Jam Along is
A free tool for singing and playing along with music you are already listening to. It shows chord suggestions, a pitch meter and short synced lyric cues. Chords are estimates (music theory and audio analysis), not official transcriptions. Scores are for fun and practice.
3. Your conduct
- Use Jam Along only for personal, non-commercial practice and fun.
- Don't use it to copy, record, download or redistribute music, lyrics or other content.
- Don't abuse the service: no scraping, flooding the score API, faking scores, reverse engineering or attempts to break security.
- Follow the terms of the music services you use (for example Spotify or YouTube).
4. Third-party content and services
- Synced lyrics come from lrclib.net, a community lyrics database. We show only the current and next line while you sing. Lyrics remain the property of their copyright owners.
- Song previews and artwork come from Apple's iTunes Search API. We use them transiently, only to estimate a song's key and colours. We don't display, store or redistribute them.
- Music plays in the apps and sites you choose. Jam Along doesn't host or stream music.
- Third-party services have their own terms and may change or stop working; we're not responsible for them.
5. Trademarks and no affiliation
Spotify, YouTube, Apple, iTunes, Instagram and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe compatibility. Jam Along is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.
6. Our rights
Copyright © 2026 Yahav Vardi. All rights reserved. The Jam Along software, design, robot character, logo and texts belong to Yahav Vardi. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Jam Along under these terms. Open-source components are licensed under their own licences (see Licenses).
7. Privacy
See the Privacy Policy. In short: microphone audio is processed on your device and never recorded or uploaded.
8. Disclaimer and no warranty
Jam Along is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of chords, lyrics, pitch or scores, and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yahav Vardi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of Jam Along. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the update. Contact: yahavv42@gmail.com.
